Runners and cyclists will obligatorily use the right side of the road.

Any event shall have a time-limit which will be indicated before the start. Any contestant who will not complete the race before the time-limit, will not be ranked.

All sporting events are backed by a first-aid team. First-aid workers, located along the course, are ready if needed.

Supply points will be located along the course, except for the Painapo Raid. At the finish line, a supply stand will provide drinks and fresh fruits to contestants.

Article 8 : SPECIFICITIES OF EVENTS
Painapo Raid :

Team participation may consist of teams of three women, three men, or mixed teams. Individual participation is for people who are not residents of French Polynesia, within the limit of 50 subscriptions (licence holders of the French Polynesian Federation of Athletism or of the Tahitian Federaton of Triathlon may also apply if they want to participate individually, subject to availability). For athletes who would like to take part in the race but who do not make up a complete team, the organising committee may help them by putting them in contact one with another.

The logbook must imperatively be consulted before the start and be carried during the race. If a signpost cannot be found, contestants are required to move back to the last signpost they went past.

Check points (CP) along the course are obligatory points. Every member of a team must go past it. Any missed CP results in the disqualification of the team or of the individual contestant. Any team which is not complete when going past the finish line will not be ranked.

Each competitor carries with him/her his/her own food and drinks during the race and along the whole course. Storing food supplies at check points and security points is not permitted. At the finish line, a supply stand will provide drinks and fresh fruits to contestants.

Any team or individual runner will leave the start line with a rucksack carrying food supplies and drinks. If such supplies are deemed insufficient, the runner may not be allowed to participate.

Any runner who is on the verge of being overtaken shall give way because the path is narrow at some points.

All the properties crossed are private properties. Competitors are not allowed to pick up fruits or plants or to throw away rubbish (recyclable or non-recyclable rubbish). They commit themselves to respect the landowners who authorised the Raid to cross their properties.

L'épreuve FUN est uniquement individuelle.

For the swimming event, any floating, propelling or breathing aids are prohibited. Face-protection accessories must cover the eyes and/or the nose only, and never the mouth. Swim caps are required.

Only security boats belonging to the organising committee or authorised by the latter shall be authorised to move along the course. No external intervention shall be authorised and any competitor who receives assistance during the race shall be disqualified. Safety at sea is the organising committee's responsibility.

For the cycling event, each competitor has his/her gear under his/her own responsibility and shall make sure it works properly. A contestant may be not authorised to compete if his/her gear is not deemed to work properly. Contestants shall bring with them any necessary repair kit and shall repair their gear without any assistance. No external assistance is allowed, even from another competitor.
